Abstract
Considering the profound impact of technologies on various sciences, accounting, as one of the soft sciences, has been affected by it. Accordingly, this research was conducted with the aim of investigating the impact of social networks on accounting (auditing and management accounting). In this research, by examining the opinions of experts and researchers, the effect of social networks on accounting education, conducting research and regulations in accounting, the theoretical framework of financial reporting, auditing, management accounting and capital market was investigated. According to the findings of the research, social networks have affected accounting by creating big data and its analysis needs training. Although it is not included in the curriculum of accounting courses, in the not too distant future, the way of teaching accounting in universities should change. Though more than a decade has not passed since the life of social networks, new research literature in the field of accounting has been proposed and used by researchers. The emergence of this media will cause changes in accounting and auditing standards in the future. Disclosure through this tool has led to the formulation of related laws in this field. Auditing uses social networks to determine business risk and fraud detection, and management accounting uses it throughout the value chain and branding, which ultimately leads to creating value for shareholders. The capital market is most influenced by social networks, in a way that creates collective wisdom and affects prices, ultimately politicians use this platform as a tool to influence the markets.
